FAQs

What is Divigel used for?

Divigel is used to treat moderate to severe menopausal vasomotor symptoms, such as hot flashes.

Divigel is applied once daily to the skin of either the right or left upper thigh, alternating sides to help reduce irritation. Do not apply it to the face, breasts, irritated skin, or in/around the vagina.

Do not wash the application site for at least 1 hour after applying Divigel. The patient instructions also note the site should be dry before dressing or swimming.

Do not double the next dose. If your next dose is less than 12 hours away, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule the next day. If it is more than 12 hours until your next dose, apply the missed dose and resume your normal dosing the next day.

Yes, accidental transfer can happen if someone touches the application site before it is fully dry. Let the gel dry completely, wash your hands after applying, and avoid direct contact with the treated area until dry.
