Interactions
Interaction risk is mainly from medicines that increase exposure to vilanterol or add similar heart and bronchodilator effects. Tell your prescriber about all inhalers, heart medicines, antidepressants, and antifungal or antiviral medicines before starting Anoro Ellipta.

- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors that can raise vilanterol levels and increase side effect risk
- Other LABA medicines which should not be used at the same time
- Beta blockers which can reduce bronchodilator effect and may worsen breathing in some patients
- Diuretics that can increase low potassium risk when combined with beta2 agonists
- MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants that can increase cardiovascular effects
- Other anticholinergic medicines that can increase dry mouth, constipation, glaucoma risk, or urinary retention risk
